Like your natural teeth, your dental appliance needs daily care. Soak your appliance in Ola Fresh solution starting from the first day you receive it to keep it clean and fresh.
Follow these simple recommendations for keeping your appliance clean.
Mixing
Ola Fresh prosthetic cleaner is easy to mix. Add the contents of 1 packet into about 1 cup of lukewarm water and stir. To make sure it’s fully dissolved, let the cup sit for about 3 minutes. After this, you’re ready to soak your dental appliance.
Soaking Times
Ola Fresh cleanses your dental appliance in as little as 5 minutes. However, different appliances have different recommended soak times for the best results. Refer to the following care recommendations based on your oral appliance type

Retainer
Soak teeth retainers for 30 minutes a day. It’s perfectly safe to leave your retainer in the solution when it’s not in use, including overnight.

Aligner
Soak teeth aligners for a maximum of 15 minutes per day. When you’re not wearing your aligner, store it in a dry case.

Sportsguard
Soak sportsguards for 30 minutes per day. It is safe to leave the guard in the cleansing solution when you’re not wearing it. You can also keep it in a dry case.

Nightguard
Soak nightguards for 30 minutes per day. It’s perfectly safe to leave the guard in the cleansing solution when you’re not wearing it. You can also store them in a dry case when not in use.

Full Dentures & Partial Dentures
Soak acrylic full dentures or partial dentures for 30 minutes maximum per day to remove denture stains. It’s okay to leave them in solution when not in use, or you can keep them in a glass of water.
Thermoplastic dentures* can also be soaked for 30 minutes per day. These are okay to leave in the solution when not in use, including overnight.
*Thermoplastic dentures are those made out of plastic materials like polyolefin, polymer, nylon, etc.
Rinsing and Drying
Before you put your dental appliance back in your mouth, make sure that you thoroughly rinse off any remaining solution. If you’ll be storing your device, let it fully dry before putting it into a clean, dry case. If your dental appliance has special storage instructions, be sure to follow them as well.

Brush Your Appliance
Thoroughly brush the dirty appliance with a soft bristle dental appliance brush using water only. Rinse again.
